I have a Toshiba 1TB Hard drive, I set the HDD drive up fine and everything was working ok, but after a period of time the TV seems to stop recognising it or it somehow becomes disconnected from the set up, which is obviously annoying when I have programmes set to record, I then have to unplug and plug the HDD back in to get in to recognise it again and set it up again.
Has anyone seen this problem? I wondered if it is because this hard drive is powered through the usb rather than an external power supply. Thanks in advance for any help. If you use a drive that is not really recommended then in all fairness to the manufacturer then its not going to work correctly. HI Mark, Can you tell me what drives are recommended by Panasonic? All I could find was that they recommend an odd spec of Buffalo drive that is not available in the UK, can you tell me what HDD you use?
