I know this does not help with the vertical alignment. This property positions the text a certain height from the top of the text box. Set this property to make your text appear as though it is centred vertically. It may take a bit of trial and error to get it correct. Not as simple as Excel, but achievable. Finished with Vertical Alignment click here to go back to 'Forms' or Go to Simply Access Home Page.
A Microsoft Access query is the result of a detailed filtering of data in an Access database. The query lists a cross section of information from data tables in your document. To align the text in your Access query results move the information to a standard data table first, which offers you more formatting options. Click the option to create a new table on your Access toolbar.
Double-click the "Add New Field" title and type in the same name as the field containing the query text that you want to align. So we arrange our fields, bring up the box, and click Auto Order. In the dropdown, we click Top to get everything in a given row to line up.
Problem solved. Then, go back to the Tab Order box, click Auto Order once more, and test. That should do it.
