Stages are also hopefully correct for most - or all characters when fihting them in the Arcade-mode. Btw: I didn't create any songs, stages or chars - i just assembled the mod as everything was free to use according to the Mugen-sites. I also based it on another mod, but replaced the screenpack and added everything in from scratch.
The above means that i didn't create the material which i am using in the mod. But the material was free to use, as everything was freely available on various MUGEN-sites on the net - such as characters, stages and music. I did choose a unique screenpack for this mod that i found on a site called Crusader Knights or something. And then i re-inserted everything that was already included in Superheroes V 4.
New for this release was fixed music on all stages, 20 or so new characters, many character upgrades to more recent versions and edited Batman-music for it to be more fitting for a fighting game.
Also like 14 new stages, mostly with a Batman-theme - were added! As stated above. I think this will be the final release.
I wasn't originally going to update my old release from april the 7th - but i felt it had been rushed and wasn't released properly. Plus the mod became way more popular than i first had imagined it to become. Therefore i felt it was deserving of an update for it to be the best possible version. The only thing remaining would be to balance all the characters if someone doesn't want some characters to be overpowered - and others underpowered!
But that i leave for someone else to fix if they want such a mod. If i am going to release a new version in the future it won't come until next year in However, they are not canonically in the series.
Capcom 1,2 and 3, plus Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. But see this is a warehouse, and anybody new to mugen or anybody ever looking for these characters would look here for them, because still, they are MvC, whether official or not. The bought game is official, mugen is not official. Where would someone go who doesnt want only oifficial characters? Gui makes it easy for all comers, so yeah, i doubt he will keep this only canon.
Because a new person may get confused and go to another site. Why not have them all since its a collection and MFFA is about having everything there is, not just canon. Once you find gui's collection, you find all there ever is made in that collection.
So i'll keep this collection only with the chars from the official MvC games, exactly for being more organized for the people. And i'll do a "MvC guests" collection with the chars from other games that had MvC gameplay. That sounds great. I get it now, you dont want people to get confused and think special edits are canon. So you will have a all non-canon MvC collection? Thats amazing. Darkwolf has made some amazing non-canons too.
