Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Same problem here, We have an Epson Printer, the printer is not that old and works on the laptop that hasn't had the windows update in our household. Thanks - I have been having the exact same issue also since late November. I did remove the old work email following this prompt and it did remove the Microsoft Azure Active Directory error message that kept popping up which was initially promising.
I then went to the Brother site and downloaded the driver uninstall file and removed the old driver. I then downloaded and reinstalled the new driver plus updates. Completed the setup wizard and Voila I am back! This has been such a pain. Thanks for this fix. It did work! Why must I log into windows to add a printer on my own network? I have the same question Report abuse. Details required :. Cancel Submit. Need more help? Expand your skills. Get new features first. Was this information helpful?
Yes No. Thank you! Any more feedback? The more you tell us the more we can help. Can you help us improve? Resolved my issue. Clear instructions. Easy to follow. No jargon. Pictures helped. Didn't match my screen. Incorrect instructions. Too technical. Not enough information. Not enough pictures.
If your printer does not have a LCD screen, you will have to connect the printer to the computer, in order to complete the setup process and connect to WiFi Network.
Once the Printer is connected to WiFi Network, you should be able to connect to it from your computer by following these steps. Open Settings on your computer and click on Devices.
In the right-pane, click on Add a Printer or Scanner option. Wait for Windows to search for the Printer and click on your printer as it comes up in search results.
On the next screen, you will see the option to Print a Test Page and Run the Troubleshooter, in case you are having problems connecting to the printer.
